CJ,
I am so incredibly proud of you. You have been off the bottle for 6 days now... and you have adjusted so well. It is almost as if you never drank from one to begin with! You are transitioning into an independent toddler so quickly, and soaking in all of life's little wonders. It amazes me how you approach life. You don't hurry anything, you take your time getting to know new things you encounter and have no fear. It inspires me to slow down and enjoy all of the little things. I am so grateful to you for that.
I hope you know how much I love you, and treasure every day we spend together.
Love,
Mommy

Getting creative in the kitchen (kinda)
When you start to run low on your food supplies and lunch is just a few minutes away, creativity kicks in. This situation tends to happen often in my kitchen. One of my go to lunches happens to be Little Man's favorite- broccoli pockets. I just unroll some crescent rolls, fill them with cheddar cheese and broccoli, roll them back up and bake them (okay, so maybe not the MOST creative I can get, but it works).
Little Man LOVES these little veggie pockets! The great thing about these is that you can get as creative as you want. I've made them with different veggies, mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce and pepperoni... the filling possibilities are endless. They are quick, easy and yummy!

Good riddance germs!
Well, we have made it several days now with no one in this home being sick. I've been holding my breath considering that since around early/mid January someone at some point had some type of virus (even my computer).
But... it seems to have passed. The germs have left! We are all well! Maybe I'm too happy about this, but I've been loving getting out of the house, having some energy and having my active baby back.
So how do you celebrate such a thing? Well- with a bubble bath of course!

Sicky Icky Poo
For three weeks now someone in this house has had some sort of sicky icky poo. First it was the stomach bug, then a horrible sinus infection, now me and Little Man have some kind of funk. Cough, fevers, head aches. I'm loosing my voice, my husband for some reason thinks this is great... humph.
CJ has had the worse part this past week. He was the poster child of pitiful. Runny nose and cough, it was hard trying to get him to eat anything. He has been enjoying the popsicles that his Papaw brought over for him though, so at least he's staying hydrated. His fever has been between 100 and 102 for three days. He's finally going to the doctor today, and I'm hoping he will be my happy, active, healthy baby asap!
On a side note, is there such a thing as a Lysol bomb? If so, I want to set one off in this house. I'm sick of the sicky, icky, poo!
