While putting out some of our Christmas decorations a few days ago, I became curious as to how some of these traditions came to be. Bringing in a tree, decorating the home and Christmas dinner. I did a little research and found a very interesting article on Snopes.com . As it turns out, many of the traditions we have today were started due to superstitions people had (or so this article says). Either way, it's a very intriguing read.Here's to hoping your first visitor on Christmas is a dark haired man! (read the article and you will know what I mean!)
